RESIDENTS OF RIO RICO COMMUNITY
SIGN
The purpose of the
community sign located at the
corner of Yavapai Drive and Camino Caralampi is to advertise
meetings of the Residents of Rio Rico, to announce guest
speakers, fundraising projects and other RORR-sponsored events.
The sign can be made available to other qualifying Rio Rico
community organizations, churches and public agencies to
advertise their events and to make public service
announcements.
RORR owns and has sole responsibility for the sign's
maintenance and scheduling, including updating the
postings. The RORR Board of Directors appoints one member as
Sign Coordinator to be responsible for the sign. The Board
may assign a second member to act as a backup. To request use
of the Community Sign,

Qualifying Agencies for Community Sign Use
Community-based service organizations, churches and public
agencies qualify to use the community sign to advertise
fundraising activities, special public meetings and public
service announcements. Use of the community is subject to RORR
policies and is subject to availability, i.e., when NOT in
conflict with RORR events.
Sign Use Rules
- Community organizations may not advertise monthly or
special meetings, unless the meeting is for the
public.
- Churches may not advertise church services or special
meetings. Fundraisers only.
- Public agencies may advertise special public meetings
and fundraisers.
- Messages will not remain on the sign more than two (2)
weeks.
- No private garage sales or business advertising is
allowed.
- New businesses to Rio Rico may request an information
notice on a one-time basis.
Use of the Community Sign is on a first come/first served
basis; however, if two requests are made for the same time
period, both events may be posted, subject to space
constraints. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests.
The Sign Coordinator makes all decisions regarding wording on
the sign.
Posting requests must be made in writing and received by the
Sign Coordinator at least one week in advance. RORR will
not bump already scheduled postings.
